Around the corner from the Casa is Braulio Carrillo National Park. Some say the park is a reminder of how the country used to look many years ago, its natural beauty is outstanding and vast. A number of trails have been established in this secluded part of the country, a short 10 minute drive from the Casa. Spend half your day wandering the trails passing cascading waterfalls and the abundance of flora and fauna at different altitudes. The longest trail is 32 miles long over an altitude drop of 3000metres
A visit to Braulio isn’t complete without taking a ride on the Rainforest Aerial Tram, experiencing the rain forest as a bird could.
